The one thing I regret about the first time I was in St. Louis for Fashion Week was that we had such a packed schedule of events that we really didn’t get to see any of the actual city! Well Alive Magazine along with the St. Louis Convention & Vistor’s Commission put together an amazing tour, all the stops in the city we would ever want to see! This is a giant shoe…made of shoes! Talk about a landmark! Brown Shoe Company, parent company of brands like Sam Edelman, Vince, Dr. Scholls & much more, have this beyond cool sculpture in front of their headquarters… & even cooler (better sized) shoes inside! After a stop at Brown Shoe we hit all of St. Louis’ major landmarks. Scroll through for photos from The St. Louis Art Museum, Central West End, Basilica, Central Library, Arch & City Garden… These photos do NOT do the inside of this church justice! It was beyond beautiful! Then our fashion filled adventure started again on Saturday with Brunch at Saks & Lunch at Neiman Marcus…never in a million years did I think I would be brunching & lunching with 2 of the most exclusive department stores in the country! Only in St. Louis!! That purple suede Balenciaga…what I wouldn’t do to get my hands on that bag! This DVF jacket! Ugh…excuse me while I cry and realize I’ll never own it! Then came Alexander McQueen…pinch me! Saving the best for last must have been the motto when planning this because the night before we left St. Louis we got treated to a super exclusive peek at the upcoming A Queen Within exhibit at the World Chess Hall of Fame! We were only allowed to take photos of these few pieces and if you think these are amazing you’ll never believe how insane the unfinished pieces are!
Thank You Alive Magazine for inviting me to yet another amazing Fashion Week, without them this amazing experience wouldn’t have happened!
Stay tuned for lots of upcoming #STLFW Outfits & a Special #STLFW Runway Style Post! Don’t miss Part 1 of my trip ((& thanks Katherine for letting me steal your awesome photo of the Arch!))
