Room for Style: Decorating | Colorful Doors
It’s time to welcome color into your life through the front door!

What better way to make your guests feel welcomed into your home than to have a beautiful painted front door. I know it’s not for everyone, but I love driving through neighborhoods looking for the unexpected front door.

Red is probably the most popular color homeowners choose to paint their front door, but that doesn’t mean it should stop you from painting yours any color you’d like.

The people of Dublin, Ireland aren’t afraid of color and you shouldn’t be either!

These side by side colored doors would definitely catch my attention driving down the street.

Sometimes your just have to take a leap, purchase some paint samples, paint them on a board & “live” with them for a few days to choose which color makes you feel good.

Get inspired by your landscape! The door above was inspired by the color of a Marigold!

Color is a wonderful thing, I find that wearing bright colors when it’s a rainy or gloomy day always lifts my spirits & it can do the same for your home. Who wouldn’t love to pull into their driveway after a long day at work to be welcomed by some beautiful flowers & a bold colored entryway? Painting your front door could give your home the lift you’re looking for without spending a lot of money!

Spring has arrived! Embrace it with a little painting project!
What color would you paint your front door?

!function(d,s,id){var e, p = /^http:/.test(d.location) ? ‘http’ : ‘https’;if(!d.getElementById(id)) {e = d.createElement(s); = id;e.src = p + ‘://’ + ‘’ + ‘/js/shopthepost.js’;d.body.appendChild(e);}if(typeof window.__stp === ‘object’) if(d.readyState === ‘complete’) {window.__stp.init();}}(document, ‘script’, ‘shopthepost-script’);
