We’re right in the middle of NYFW and since I’ve been so inspired by the out of the box street style and runway looks that I’ve seen over the past few days I decided to push the limits with today’s new Makeup Monday post and kick my normal cat eye up a notch. Instead of doing one wing I decided to do two wings on the outer corners of my eyes and I extended the start of my cat eye slightly into the inner corners of my eyes! Just a subtle change up that makes this look fashion forward and so fashion week appropriate! Also warming up the colors on my face this week with this metallic plum and gold eye shadow! Is Fashion Week inspiring you to kick up your daily style? Make sure to follow along on my social media handles to see what I’ve been up to this week!
Metallic Double Wing Cat Eye Makeup Tutorial:
  1. Prep face with Garnier Clearly Brighter Anti Sun Damage Daily Moisturizer (c/o). Apply MAC Prolongwear Nourishing Foundation with a beautyblender. Conceal under eye circles with Make Up Forever Ultra HD Invisible Cover Concealer.
  2. Apply e.l.f. Baked Bronzer in Los Cabos (c/o) to hollows of cheeks and around hair line. Apply blush shade 5 from BH Cosmetics Blushed Neutrals Palette (c/o) to apples of cheeks and blend.
  3. Apply shade 7 (middle row, 2nd shade from left) from BH Cosmetics Carli Bybel Eyeshadow & Highlighter Palette (c/o) from lid to crease, apply shade 9 to crease, then apply shade 5 to crease and blend with a fluffy eyeshadow brush. Line upper lashes with Maybelline Master Precise Liquid Liner. Apply 2 coats of Maybelline The Falsies Mascara. Groom and fill in brows with BH Cosmetics Ultimate Brow Palette (c/o).
  4. Set foundation with matte shade from bareMinerals Translucent Powder Duo (c/o). Highlight cheeks with shade 1 from BH Cosmetics Carli Bybel Eyeshadow & Highlighter Palette (c/o).
  5. Apply Julep It’s Whipped Matte Lip Mousse in Ooh La La (c/o) to lips to finish.
