Guys, I am the QUEEN of sweaters, pretty much every season except Summer is sweater weather in my book and when I’m having doubts about an outfit I pretty much ALWAYS throw a sweater on. The more layers the better, and I don’t know if it’s just me, but a layered look is instantly more elevated than one that isn’t.
And I don’t know what it is about the color pink lately, but I’m all about it. I’m not talking bubble gum pink (though there’s nothing wrong with that…check out my favorite hot pink makeup post from last year), but I’ve been obsessing over this blush, barely there pink as of late. When I was little I was super girly and pink was definitely my favorite color, then into my teenage years I was more red and purple with a lot of black eyeliner (if you catch my drift), and as an adult I’m just as all around colorful person that changes her favorite color by the day. But today…I can confidently say that I’m feeling pretty in pink, especially in this layered, ruffled, extra girly look.
On a side note, I also never thought I’d have a pretty pink bedroom at 31 years old, but sometimes we surprise ourselves and now that it’s pretty much done I can’t image having anything other than a pink room.
