My apartment may be ALMOST complete when it comes to decorating, but my outdoor balcony on the other hand has pretty much been a disaster since I moved in! Since by the time I moved into my apartment it was the end of October I didn’t really think about decorating it because I knew I wouldn’t be able to actually sit out there for months. It actually ended up basically turning into a storage room with bins and bins of extra crap I had. Christmas decorations, extra lamps, brooms, mops, folding chairs…you name it, it was out there. Fast forward to April, I was legit ALL over the place (as you probably recall), but I knew I needed to start thinking about how I wanted to decorate my small outdoor balcony.

First off I knew I needed some sort of storage cabinet, that actually took way longer to find then I anticipated (I ended up getting this one and it’s perfect!). And once I got everything cleaned up out there it was time to start decorating! Of course I turned to my mom (the decorating queen) and Pinterest for some inspiration and I figured I’d share my favorite inspirational images of the best decorated small outdoor balconies!

It’s funny because I had a balcony at my old apartment and I didn’t use it nearly as much as I should AND didn’t realize how many versatile ways there were to decorate it, so I knew I needed a plan and vision before I started decorating my new balcony!
