Tracy and I got back from Vermont a few weeks ago and I’m not going to lie I was a little unsure as to what to pack. I knew the types of activities we were planning on doing, but the weather was kind of all over the place and I’m the worst packer EVER so I struggled planning what to wear in Vermont in the Fall.
In the end I actually don’t think I overpacked (shockingly), so I wanted to share just in case you are a bad packer like I am and panic whenever you go on a trip. And since we’re all a little rusty on the traveling front this time was especially hard!
So I’m breaking down exactly what I packed (aside from the obvious essentials like bras and underwear) plus all the outfits I wore during our 5 days in Vermont.
I will say, if you’re a style queen like I am then I HIGHLY suggest signing up for a clothing rental service like nuuly and renting your clothes when you go on vacation (or all the time like I do)! Half of the items I brought with me I rented and didn’t have to buy anything new for this trip! Renting coats is clutch if you live in a cold climate like I do, or if you normally live in a warm climate and are traveling to the cold (why buy a coat you’re only going to wear on a trip when you can rent 2 super cute ones!) If you want more info on nuuly check out my entire blog post!

Do you think the first week of November is too late to see the leaves?
Jackie Giardina says
They sadly might be all fallen from the trees by then. We went the first week of October and it was technically after peak. BUT I would check the foliage calendar for this year to see exactly when they expect peak to be.
