Let me give you a little back story on this Mannequin Christmas Tree. I’ve been pinning these christmas tree dresses for YEARS and every year I say to myself I’m going to do it and every year I don’t. Well right before our annual Holiday Brunch I decided this was the year I was going to dress up my dress form mannequin for Christmas. I called my dad and asked if he could cut me some evergreen branches from the trees in his backyard and I went to Michaels to get the rest of the supplies. I fully intended for this to be a disaster and for me to give up without finishing (that’s why I didn’t take step-by-step photos), but it was actually the easiest thing EVER to create.
So for now enjoy photos of the prettiest and easiest Christmas decoration that you still have plenty of time to DIY for your own house. Scroll down for detailed instructions along with everything you need to make your mannequin Christmas tree and I promise next year I’ll do step-by-step photos!
*The one mistake I made while creating my Mannequin Christmas Tree was that I made it WAY too early in the season and I already had to take it apart because the branches were dying and the pine needles were falling everywhere and making a mess. Next year I’m going to make it way closer to the actual holiday.
But that just means that if you want to make this for yourself before Christmas you ABSOLUTELY have time to do it! I swear once you have all the supplies, the whole process takes about 15 minutes!
