What a whirlwind of the month! I honestly didn’t even realize it was the end of May until I wrote my mortgage check and I was literally in disbelief that a whole month had gone by in what felt like a blink of an eye. I swear I was so busy that the only time I was actually in my apartment during the month was when I was sleeping (and that wasn’t more than 5 or 6 hours a night). It’s safe to say I’m glad the craziness of the past month is over and I’m excited to get back to some normalcy!
Now onto a recap of what’s been going on…
I was SO lucky to have been able to go to the new Bahamar Resort in the Bahamas this month with my brother and his company. I didn’t take too many photos there, but I do have a post coming up soon with all the details. In the meantime if you have any questions just send me an email! And if you’re considering a trip there I honestly can’t recommend it enough!
I got my hair done at Mia Wagner Salon by the owner, Gary, in the beginning of the month and I couldn’t be more obsessed. I always like getting blonde refresh in the beginning of the summer and this invitation to stop by their new salon couldn’t have come at a better time! They nailed my ashy blonde color and it doesn’t hurt that the salon itself is beautiful and everyone works there is amazing!
A few weeks ago I kicked off Rosé Season with Physicians Formula at City Vineyard. Their new Rosé makeup and skincare collection has quickly become part of my everyday routine. The entire line isn’t out yet, but you can shop the available products right here!
Another event I went to over the past month is Derma E’s East Coast Party! You guys already know that Derma E is one of my favorite brands, and their events are always SO beautifully done! I picked up a bunch of new products (like this Vitamin C Serum) and a few old favorites (like my ultimate favorite Microdermabrasion Scrub).
My hair has been going through some changes over the past few months and I was definitely a little leery about trying these Christophe Robin products when they came in the mail, but once I did I was hooked! My hair and scalp felt so clean after using these and I would definitely suggest trying the mini size of the Cleansing Purifying Scrub with Sea Salt and the Detangling Gelée Conditioner if you’re interested.
This past weekend I got the chance to attend a private dining experience with Underground by A-Game and a few of my favorite Westchester Bloggers! He has tickets on sale for his next pop up event this weekend in Greenwich, CT and stay tuned to his Instagram for tickets to his next Westchester pop up on June 20th in Katonah!!
This past month I may have done quite a bit of shopping, but I also did a HUGE purge of my closet (finally!!). But before we get to that, let’s talk about all my new additions (including everything I brought to the Bahamas with me!)
Shop this Lulu’s Leaf Halter Wrap Dress!
As part of my closet clean out (that I finally got around to two months after I meant to) I listed a TON of brand new (with tags on) items and like new items in my Poshmark closet! If you don’t already have a Poshmark account you can sign up with the code: JACKIEGIARDINA to get $10 off your first purchase!
I thought it would be fun to share the most popular item of the month that I shared! Not only was this Brixton Hat the most clicked item, but it was also the most purchased item!! It’s pretty clear you guys are loving it as much as I do! I’ve had mine for about 2 years (see it’s first appearance here) and it still looks brand new! I’m actually thinking of adding the Lilac or Navy one to my closet because I wear this one SO much!
