October 31st is just over two weeks away and it’s officially crunch time in regards to picking out the perfect Halloween costume! Don’t go out buy an ((expensive)) costume that someone else will probably have when you can grab your bestie, scour your closets and come up with the most amazing costume that’s guaranteed to win you that “Best Costume” award at the party you’re headed to!! 
Megan and I put our thinking caps on and came up with not only one or two costume ideas, but THREE of the most amazing best friend Halloween costumes made up entirely of items we already owned! Calling all procrastinators and lazy girls…this is the Halloween post you need to read, we already did the work, all you need to do is get yourself ready to party!

Lucy & Ethel
What you’ll need : A curling iron, a midi skirt, lots of chocolate and an arsenal of funny faces.

Lucy and Ethel was a no brainer for us because if you ask Megan‘s husband we’re always getting into some sort of trouble together. These costumes were also the easiest to put together because let’s be serious…if you take away the over the top hair, ridiculous accessories and funny faces we’d actually wear these outfits out!

If you’re dressing up as Ethel go for short curled blonde hair (I pinned mine up with bobby pins), a short sleeved top, black midi skirt, pearls and kitten heels! If you’re more of a Lucy go with a loud midi skirt, pointy toe pumps, overdrawn lips and of course her signature red hair tied up in a scarf. Be sure to stick together throughout the night and make hilarious faces while shoving chocolate and grapes in your mouth. You’ll be a hit I promise!

What you’ll need : High waisted jeans, lots of hairspray and a few well placed balloons.

Reba McEntire and Dolly Parton are country music royalty and deserve to be immortalized forever in the book of funniest Halloween bestie costumes ever!

Whether you’re dressing up as Reba or Dolly make sure you have plenty of blue eyeshadow & hairspray because more is more with these two ladies. First off, dressing up as Dolly Parton for Halloween is NOT for the shy as you’ll be smuggling balloons in your shirt for a lengthy period of time and people will stare. Once you figure out how to create ample cleavage find your sparkliest platform pumps, high waisted jeans, plaid shirt and handkerchief to complete the look (but let’s be serious…all your really need are the boobs). Reba isn’t as over the top with her fashion statements as Dolly so keep it “simple” with a puffy sleeved blouse, high waisted jeans, statement belt buckle and denim vest (extra points if it’s fringe).

Chucky & The Bride of Chucky
What you’ll need : Lots of black eyeliner and a blank stare.

No Halloween costume post is complete without as least one scary costume and with Megan’s fire engine red hair it was pretty easy to decide who we wanted to be. I’m not going to lie Chucky scared the shit out of me when I was younger, but dressing up as the scariest dolls of all time was pretty amazing. I usually opt for funny costumes over scary costumes, but this duo might have just changed my mind.

Overalls, a striped shirt and crazy look in your eyes is pretty much all you need to dress up as Chucky. As for the Bride of Chucky go with a leather jacket, black choker, white dress and combat boots, and make sure to finish your look with lots of black makeup (I’m talking eyebrows, eyeshadow, lipstick and her signature mole). Bonus points if you both carry a (fake) knife with you on Halloween…we opted to scare you with our death stares for these photos because carrying a knife around Queens in broad daylight during mid-October is apparently frowned upon…
