Who would’ve thought that this pants hating girl would be writing a post titled, “Do You Have Culottes in Your Closet Yet?” because I sure as hell didn’t think I’d be writing anything of the sort. But these dusty rose culottes have been in my possession for about 5 months and I’ve worn them heavily throughout Spring and Summer, and I don’t foresee that changing come Fall.
I also never thought I would consider a pair of pink pants a wardrobe staple, but this particular pair are exactly that! The subtle mauve color can definitely be considered a neutral, the silhouette is perfect for work and play, and they’re just so damn comfortable that I dedicated a whole post to them.
Culottes are one of those strange clothing items that most people think they can’t “pull off” but I can confidently tell you that you most definitely can because they’re flattering on every single body type! For pear shaped and hourglass girls, culottes help conceal your hips all while accentuating your waist. As for apple or more athletic shaped ladies, the wide leg of these particular pants can create the illusion of having a more curvy figure.
I’ve been having a TON of luck shopping for pants on ASOS this year and that’s exactly where this pair came from. I highly suggest checking there first if you’re looking to pick up a pair of culottes because not only are they extremely affordable, but they offer both petite and tall options! Lucky for you I’ve rounded up my favorite pairs and I can guarantee you’ll have a pair of culottes in your closet by the time you’re done reading this post!

I’ve bought three pairs in the last few months but these rose beauties look so comfortable… I may need just one more!
