Another month another post about my favorite new beauty products! This month is a light one, but I assure you that these 5 favorites are not to be missed. While some of these might not technically be new products they’re new to me! A couple are items I’ve been dying to try and other I just happened to stumble upon and am so glad I did! So without further ado here’s my 5 favorite new beauty products of January 2018!
e.l.f. cosmetics Charcoal Hydrogel Under Eye Masks $8 (for a 3 pack) c/o – Under eye masks are literally my favorite, but there are so many brands that make ones that are just uncomfortable to wear, this is definitely not one of those! These hydrogel patches are comfortable to wear, cooling and plumping! I love to put them on before a night out as I’m doing my eye makeup and take they off right before I put on my foundation! I swear I need significantly less under eye concealer when I do this!
e.l.f. cosmetics Beauty Shield Recharging Magnetic Mask Kit $24 c/o – If you watch my Instagram stories then you saw my try this mask out last week. Not going to lie it was hilarious. The way the magnet literally pulls the mask off your face is the weirdest feeling ever, but it left my face feeling so soft! I added the videos to my Instagram stories highlights so head over to my page if you want to check it out! It’s under the Beauty tab!
artnaturals Tea Tree Essential Oil $14.99 (for 4 oz bottle) – I got a whole essential oils kit along with a diffuser for Christmas and I don’t know how I’ve lived without one for so long. I diffuse lavender and peppermint pretty much every night, and I quickly discovered that tea tree is the best way to get rid of acne. All I do is put a few drops of it on a Q-tip and dab it anywhere I’m breaking out. Pimples that wouldn’t taken multiple days to go away, have disappeared almost overnight by doing this. I would patch test on your arm before applying essential oil directly to your face to make sure you don’t have a reaction. And also make sure to wear sunscreen if you plan on doing this too!!
L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Glow Foundation $12.99 – I have seen other bloggers rave about this foundation for months and a few weeks ago as I was browsing the makeup aisle in CVS I finally remembered to pick it up for myself and I’m so glad I tried it! I’ve been using Hourglass stick foundation for a few months now so it was definitely an adjustment from that, but over I love the way it applies, I love the finish and it definitely lasts throughout the day on me as long as I set it with powder. It is a bit watery compared to other liquids I’ve tried in the past, but I would attribute that to the fact that it’s catered to dry skin and billed as a hydrating formula. It didn’t bother me, but I definitely needed to set it with powder! (If you shop at Ulta you get a FREE $5 eReward Card with any $15 L’Oreal, Maybelline or NYX purchase from 1/28/18-2/3/18!)
Tarte Tarteist Lash Paint Mascara $23 – Most of you know that I’m very, very particular when it comes to mascara, so when I find one I love I shout it from the rooftop! I finished the Revlon one I had been using so I figured I would try a different kind that I had in my makeup drawer and it was the first one I grabbed. I swear I usually find that I like drugstore brand mascaras more than higher end options, but this Tarte mascara is up there with one of best I’ve ever tried. This formula combined with the fact that I’ve been using RevitaLash Eyelash Conditioner, I swear it looks like I’m wearing falsies or extensions! It’s a bit more pricey of a mascara than I usually recommend, but in my opinion 100% worth it!
