Smoke Marble Nails
Another month, another marble manicure! But really anytime I don’t know what type of nail art design I want to do I end up doing some variation of marble nails! This time we used black polish to create a marble design over nude polish that ended up looking like smoke and I’m SO obsessed with how it turned out!
One of my favorite things about marble/watercolor nail designs is that they never look the same and theres SO many variations of them. In the past I’ve done different shades of blue glitter marble that ended up looking like geode crystals, neon green & pink marble, blue marble that mimicked the ocean and more! And I’ve never seen black marble that ended up looking like smoke which makes me even more obsessed with how this Fall manicure came out.
And because I couldn’t leave it just with marble and needed a little bit of something EXTRA, we added flecks of foil in this insanely cool yellow, orange, gold color that instantly elevated the overall look of this nail art! It reminded me of fire which obviously complimented the smoke design perfectly.
Foil is the perfect edgy way to add a shiny element to your nails without adding glitter or rhinestones. I really love how this foil in particular changes depending on the light!
These smoke marble nails were the perfect Fall nails to follow up my Halloween designs. I wasn’t quite over spooky nails yet, but knew I needed to move on for my November nails! These are Halloween reminiscent without being too “Halloweeny” and are just the right amount of mysterious and creepy!
