If you haven’t
already noticed from reading my blog and following me on Instagram, I’m
constantly on the go. Work, Pure Barre, blogger events,
shooting photos…it’s exhausting just thinking about it and that doesn’t even
include normal activities like visiting my mom, seeing my friends or going
grocery shopping.

When smartwater asked me to come visit their
lounge in the WeWork space in Gramercy, I jumped at the chance to check it out.
I work and live in Westchester County, NY (just about 15 miles north of
Manhattan) and when I head into the city for the day for blogger events,
meetings and shooting photos, I have a lot of down time that I could spend
working if I had somewhere to go. The smartwater
up up up lounge gave me just that! Not only is it a great place to take a
breather from my crazy schedule, but it’s filled with inspiration! With phrases
like “Success doesn’t happen in a single moment” and “Great things happen
little by little” plastered on the walls it’s hard not to feel creative. The
coolest part by far has to be smart clouds filling the space. Designer, Richard
Clarkson, created
these interactive speaker/lamp clouds designed to mimic a thunderstorm in both
sound and light and they are just about the coolest thing ever. I got a chance
to hear him speak a few weeks ago and I couldn’t help but be inspired by the
way he talks about his designs.
