Pantone’s Color of 2015…Marsala!
And what better time to talk about the color Marsala, than February!
Marsala is a rich, deep red-brown that draws us in to embrace it’s warmth. If you love to experiment with the color red, Marsala is for you! You will find it very easy to work with.
It’s earth tone works well with natural color, but also goes nice with vibrant colors.
I love what they did above. If you take away the color red, the dining room is very neutral, but adding the rich curtains, carpet & cushions gives it a very different look without going overboard.
Not many people would commit to a red sofa, but look what it does to this room!
Love the unexpected pop of color these chairs bring to this room.
Don’t wait for Valentine’s Day to add a little red to your home! I hope these ideas will inspire you to add it all year long!
