My Go-To Summer Style Essentials

I don’t know about you but I’m counting down the days until Summer officially begins! Summer is on the horizon and with it comes a packed calendar of outdoor parties, and lets be serious, getting dressed for an alfresco summer soiree can be stressful! No one wants to sacrifice style for practicality, so today I thought I would share my go-to summer style essentials that will guide your outfits all summer no matter if you’re getting dressed for a casual picnic or a garden wedding!

Up first…sweat protection! Another summer favorite for me is a great pair of statement earrings! These gold ones are old favorites, but I’m loving all the bright, colorful tassel earrings that are so on trend this year too.

Now lastly, the summer style essential I definitely couldn’t leave the house without…fresh, sweat-proof makeup! Sunscreen, tinted moisturizer, bronzer and a light lip color are my summer makeup essentials. Even a makeup lover like myself knows when to stick with the basics, especially when the temperatures make their way up into the 90s and above. I always carry around matte powder, blotting papers and a lip color to reapply on the go. And ALWAYS grab a pair of sunnies! Not only are they one of my summer style essentials, but they can quickly cover up any running makeup.
