Room for Style: Layering your Fall Outfits

Now THESE are the Fall photos I like (unlike these)! I don’t think I could have captured Fall better than getting a glimpse of leaves changing color in the background! As soon as the weather starts getting cooler the layers come out! Honestly I don’t layer too much in the beginning of Fall because let’s face it NY is temperamental & its just not cold enough yet, but it doesn’t mean we can’t start with 1 or 2 layers (don’t you worry I’ll definitely have a Winter layering post later in the year).

Jean jackets, military jackets & scarves are my go to for the early days of Fall & easiest enough for anyone to wear! Lately though I’m not quite ready to give up my silky summer dresses so I’ve been pairing them with chunky knits (& leather jackets if the sweater isn’t enough). Loving the mixture of unexpected textures, its a great way to make the most out of your Summer wardrobe!
