2018 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Try On Session

Nordstrom at The Westchester is seriously the BEST! They let me have a sneak peek of the 2018 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale before I left for vacation because they knew I wouldn’t be in the country when it kicked off today and let me tell you it’s GOOD! I tried on a LOT (like 2 hours worth of clothes) and about 75% of them are now on my wishlist! I didn’t want to wait until I shopped and took proper photos of everything I got so instead I thought a 2018 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Try On Session right from the dressing room of Nordstrom at The Westchester would be perfect for the first day of the sale!

Topshop Printed Midi Skirt – Sale Price $49.90 (After Sale $75.00)

My second favorite piece of the sale (scroll down to find out my favorite) is this skirt! I’ve been SO into flirty midi skirts and this one takes the cake! I love the Fall colors and fun hem line! I swear when I put on a fun skirt I’m instantly in a better mood!  (I’m wearing a size US 10, but I’m probably going to size down to a US 8 when I buy it)

Topshop Bubble Satin Wrap Dress – Sale Price $39.90 (After Sale $60) *Comes in 2 Colors*

OMG this is it! The best item of the whole sale (according to me at least). The fit is a dream, the color is perfect and it’s SO FREAKING FLATTERING! I’m definitely picking it up in red, and I honestly love it so much I might get it in black too! I mean look at the smile on my face, I literally didn’t want to take it off in the dressing room!

Halogen Removable Bow Dress – Sale Price $72.90 (After Sale $109.00)

This dress is the definition of Fall perfection! The color, the material, the print, the everything! And it would look great with bare legs and strappy sandals now, and tights or OTK boots later! It comes with a bow neck tie, but I liked it better without it!

BP. Ruffled Floral Print Jumpsuit – Sale Price $42.90 (After Sale $65.00)

This jumpsuit is so cute! The fit is great, the peplum detail is super cute and it’s perfect for now and later once it gets cold! It’s inexpensive so if you’re looking for something fun to pick up from the sale this is it!

This look is SO out of my comfort zone! I never ever wear short skirts, let along mini skirts, but I’m a sucker for corduroy and this burnt orange color and ended up loving this whole look! If this doesn’t scream Fall, then I don’t know what does! (I’m wearing a size 10 in both the skirt and top)

This jacket is freaking amazing! I never thought I needed a pink leather moto jacket, but leave it up to Ted Baker to make me want it! As for this skirt, it’s a no for me. It so pretty in person and the color is amazing, but it fits me weird in the hips, so if you’re pear shaped like me you probably want to skip this one. (I’m wearing a size 3 in the jacket and an 8 in the skirt)

Good American Good Legs High Waist Skinny Jeans – Sale Price $99.90 (After Sale $149.00)

THE perfect top and THE perfect jeans! This top is perfect for layering and I definitely plan on picking it up in a couple colors. My Fall uniform is usually a sweater, cami and jeans so you better believe these two will be in constant rotation. And I’m SO impressed with these jeans. They are just the right about of stretch and SO flattering! (I’m wearing a Medium in the top and 10 in the jeans)

While this denim feels amazing on, it was a little too stretchy for me. I don’t know if sizing down would’ve helped, but if you’re into super stretchy (and soft) denim then these are for you! (I’m wearing a size 31)

This is one of those tops that literally EVERYONE will pick up from the sale. It’s suppose to be V-Neck, but when I put it on it fell off my shoulders and I’m kind of just left it that way! (I’m wearing a Medium in the top and 10 in the jeans)

I loved this retro silhouette and print so much I needed to try it on and I was pleasantly surprised how flattering it was! (I’m wearing a Large)

Theory L Lamb Suede Moto Jacket – Sale Price $664.90 (After Sale $995.00)

I know what you’re thinking, she’s fucking crazy for including a $600+ jacket in this post, but honestly the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is all about scoring biggest ticket items at a super discounted price and it doesn’t get more discounted than this! Plus how amazing is this jacket?!? The color in the photo doesn’t even do it justice, it’s just perfect! (I’m wearing a Large)

Tahari Nicky Oversize Coat – Sale Price $179.90 (After Sale $278.00)

Every single year one of these Tahari Coats is included in the sale for a reason, because it’s THAT good! It’s super flattering, perfect for a mild Winter day and so chic! (I’m wearing a Medium)

Free People Saturday Morning Cardigan – Sale Price $98.90 (After Sale $148) *Comes in 3 Colors*

Free People kills it in a lot of departments, but most of all in the cozy, oversized sweater one and this open knit version is perfect! It’s see it here, but there’s better photos on the website and a video on my Instagram stories! (I’m wearing a size M/L)

Every year I pick up one inexpensive cardigan for Fall and Winter and this is it this year! I was initially drawn to the color and the fit is perfect + you can’t beat that price! (I’m wearing a Medium)

Vince Wool & Cashmere Split Hem Cardigan – Sale Price $264.90 (After Sale $395.00)

OMG this sweater is PERFECT! Honestly I can’t imagine anything more perfect. Yes it’s an investment piece, but if you live in sweaters like this all Fall and Winter like I do it’s worth it, plus IT’S CASHMERE. Trust me, the second you put it on you won’t want to take it off! (I’m wearing a Medium)

And as always the items in this sale tend to go out of stock FAST! So if you see something you like I highly suggest picking it up as soon as you can! If you’re in the Tri-State area, The Westchester offers curb side pick up, I can’t imagine it gets better than that!
