Blue Geode Nails
You guys know that I love watercolor and marble nails. You can check out my Pink & Green Marble Nails and Blue Marble Nails from last year. However, I needed to step it up and the next obvious manicure was definitely these blue geode nails!
These blue geode nails mimic the texture of crystals. You can get it by mixing watercolor and marble techniques in a few different polish shades of blue. Then topping it with gold foil and I couldn’t be more in love! If you’re obsessed with all things crystals – amethyst, rose quartz, etc. – then you’ll definitely be obsessed with this nail art trend that’s blowing up on Instagram and Pinterest.
Crystal Nail Art
While this crystal inspired nail art trend has resurged this year, it’s not new. Also, I don’t see it going away anytime soon! These blue geode nails are intricate and eye-catching. But much easier than most other nail designs that are popular right now.
While I can’t give you the step by step instructions for how to recreate these nails, if you save these photos on either Pinterest or Instagram, I’m sure your nail tech can recreate these on you!

As always these are UV gel (or hard gel) nails with color gel on top with nail designs painted in color gel and foil. If you’re interested in starting with UV gel nails it’s helpful to know that you don’t need to get them soaked off every visit. They are filed down and filled and I usually get them done every 4 to 5 weeks.
