Blue Snowflake Nails
While a lot of people tend to get snowflake nails for a Christmas mani, I think they’re even more perfect as a January manicure! Since Winter doesn’t technically start until December 21st, I think these blue snowflake nails are perfect for your first set of Winter nails or January nails.
Even without the snowflake nail art designs this extra sparkly cat eye nail polish looks like falling snow and while it’s eye catching on it’s own, the snowflakes complete the manicure.
To create this extra sparkly blue base, start with black gel polish and top it with a coat or two of blue cat eye polish and activate it with a magnetic! I think the key to making this polish so vibrant is layering it over a black polish (trust me we tried it over blue and it didn’t pop nearly as good!) I also really love how much this polish changes with the light. From a very glittery bright blue when the light hits it, to a dark and moody navy blue in the dark.
More Cate Eye Nail Polish
This isn’t my first cat eye nail polish manicure (check out these Halloween Nails, Pink Valentine’s Nails & Lime Green French Tips if you’re looking for more inspiration) and it won’t be my last. If you haven’t tried cat eye polish I highly recommend asking your local salon what cat eye polishes they offer at your next appointment so you decide what color and design you’re going to try.
The delicate white hand painted snowflakes really completely these nails and truly turn it into the ultimate winter wonderland or winter solstice manicure.
