Let’s head to the Caribbean!
There is so much inspiration to pull from the island beaches. The warm tones of the sand and the cool colors of the water can really make a beautiful palette to work with (no matter if your home is over looking the water on the East Coast or on Main Street in the Midwest!)
There is so much inspiration to pull from the island beaches. The warm tones of the sand and the cool colors of the water can really make a beautiful palette to work with (no matter if your home is over looking the water on the East Coast or on Main Street in the Midwest!)
So lets get started!
If you really look at the sandy beaches you will see the variation of color. There are tones of peach, beige, taupe, gray, white and these are just to name a few! Just imagine walking along the water and think about how many colors you see.
The color of the ocean reminds me of rich jewel tones. Teal, cobalt, sky blue, green and much more are all tones of the water and the sky! Just imagine how much vibrancy these colors would bring to a room!
Decorating a room using the Caribbean as your inspiration can be fun, you know your comfort zone and that will guide you. Start with the neutral “sand” palette and start adding touches of “water.” How much or how little is totally up to you! Be even more daring by adding touches of orange & coral, think sunsets, and see the room pull together before your eyes!
I dare you not to consider redecorating a room in your home after looking at these photos!
