In case you didn’t know already New York was comparable to the surface of the sun last Thursday. 95+ & humid, what a perfect start to NYFW. I spent a good 20 minutes in the morning staring at my closet trying to figure out how I could get away with wearing the least amount of clothes possible…let’s just say thank god for slip dresses! What you can’t see in these photos is the fact that I was dripping sweat (TMI?) and the most giant blister was forming on my right foot from my feet shifting in my shoes too much (ps: it was only 3pm?!). All complaining aside the day was awesome. Later this week I’ll be giving you a recap of all my NYFW adventures, but for now follow along on Instagram & Twitter to see what I’m doing.
PS. I was super inspired by the Masion Jules Presentation to wear a deep berry lip color (& love the way it looks!), but I’ve come to the conclusion that more women need to wear lipstick. I swear I got so many looks while sporting this dark shade that you would’ve thought it was smeared across my face!!

That dress is so pretty!! I can't imagine how hot it was for you on Thursday seeing how I was dying on Saturday and it was only in the high 80s/really low 90s….yuck!
