Manicure of the Month: Fall French Twist Nails

You guys…I had the HARDEST TIME naming this manicure of the month! I kept calling them autumn rainbows, but every time I searched it to make sure I was accurately describing the nail art, NOTHING even remotely like this design came up. Then I thought hmmm this is sorta like a unique french manicure…but I despise french manicures so I really really really didn’t want to name it that. THEN I thought well it’s kind of a twist on a french manicure so what about a french twist…fall french twist nails!

Do I think fall french twist nails is a perfect description of them? No (I still think Autumn rainbows are the best), but I gave up and needed to get this post up since SO many of you guys are dying to see this manicure! And I will absolutely be asking for your opinion on a name on Instagram, but until then fall french twist nails are it!

Also how perfect is this mix of colors for fall nails!? I wasn’t really feeling an orange/rust manicure, so instead I went with this burgundy/wine/mauve stripe and I’m in love with how the color combo came out. Plus the strip of gold foil is just perfect!

I have a feeling this isn’t the last time you’re going to see this nail design. And if you’re doing your own nails this design is pretty easy to copy if you have a striping brush.
