We’ve all had those moments where we stand in our rooms after trying every single thing on we own and claim to “not have anything to wear!” Pulling together a go to outfit is something you should put on your “to do” list for this weekend then! In the warmer months my go to is an easy skater dress, no matter what I’m doing or where I’m going a skater dress is 9 out of 10 times appropriate!
Start with a base & work from there!
Add statements necklaces, fun sunglasses & finally handbags and shoes appropriate for what you’re doing! Like my mom said in yesterday’s decorating post, gather ideas from what is around you! Just as you can get decorating inspiration from the clothes hanging in your closet, you can get outfit ideas from the home you live in! Another thing I learned from yesterday’s post that applies to fashion as well is that it may take time to put together the outfit you want. For right now you may be pairing your dress with sandals from Target and a necklace from H&M, but next year you might be wearing that same dress with a pair of new Tory Burch heels! It’s all about BUILDING your wardrobe & making key purchases which will make pulling together outfits a breeze!

These are great tips. I always try starting with one item I'm super excited about wearing that day, and going from there!
