June & July 2019 Round Up

Welp guys I was doing good for a couple months then I completely slacked off and forgot to write my June 2019 Round Up so we’re just going to treat this post as a recap for both months and call it a day!

Now before I jump into all the good stuff let’s talk personal news for a second…I’m desperately trying this whole getting 8 hours of sleep a night thing. According to my FitBit I only get around 6 hours a night and it’s DEFINITELY taking a toll on me. I struggle hardcore walking up in the morning, I hit a 3pm slump like no other and my eyes have been bothering me a lot (despite wearing my blue light glasses). So in August I’m going to work better on my time management skills so I get more things done during the day, I’m going to actually stick to the 2 hour limit I have set for Instagram (I mean I despise the app so why and I spending so much time scrolling) and I’m going to give it my best to sleep a little more!

June & July 2019 Travel

I’m so lucky I got to take not 1, but 2 trips during June & July! The first one to Raleigh, NC to visit one of my best friends! Literally the easiest flight ever (barely an hour from NYC) and every time I take it I curse myself for not going to visit her more often! If only there was a flight from Westchester Airport…who can I talk to to make that happen!

My second trip was a first time trip to New Orleans with a bunch of my best blogger friends! Our trip was QUITE a struggle being that we were there during “Hurricane Barry” but we made the most of it and I’ll be sharing all the details on where we stayed tomorrow & my New Orleans guide after that! June & July 2019 Beauty

I revealed in yesterday’s new post that I’ve been struggling a bit over the past few months with acne (for the first time in my life) and now that I think I finally have it under control I’m ready to share the 6 clean beauty products that helped me! It’s actually not surprising to me at all that my most popular item (or items I should say) are self tanners! After quite a few tanning mishaps I finally found the holy grail of self tanners and I’ll never look back! I apply Loving Tan Deluxe Bronzing Mousse in Dark to my entire body using a mitt and then every other day or so I add a few drops of Tan-Luxe The Face Illuminating Self-Tan Drops to my moisturizer! I’ve also become obsessed with St. Tropez Tan Remover Prep and Maintain Mousse to remove leftover tan on my body before applying a new layer.
