Manicure of the Month: Neon Green Nails

It’s about that time to break out the neon nail polish! I know it’s not technically Spring yet, but right around this time of year is when I’m dying to put my neutrals and darks away in favor of my colorful favorites for Spring and Summer and my nails are no exception to this rule! It’s bright manicures only from now until Halloween on my nails!

I found this neon green nail design on Instagram on short nails and knew I needed to recreate it on my longer, almond shaped nails! I never gravitate towards green nail polish (not really sure why!), but these neon green nails were calling my nail and I couldn’t be more obsessed with how they came out!

Also, I love the lime green polish paired with nude polish to create a negative space nail art design. I also love how the black and white dots layered over each other creates a 3-D looking design. Overall this is a pretty simple nail design that you could easily create at home if you do your own nails or you can show your nail tech so they can recreate it on your nails this Spring or Summer!

Also I love how I inadvertently got a green manicure in March. I’m not Irish, but I guess subconsciously I wanted green nails to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day this month! And while these don’t technically scream St. Paddy’s Day nails, the green is definitely a nod to the holiday!
