The Power of Gray
Who doesn’t like the color, gray?
Gray is the new black. The difference is, it has more dimension and variety than black. Gray can be cool by using a blue gray, or warm by using a brownish gray, taupe. Want drama? Go with a slate, more of a smokey gray. These are just a few tones of gray that can be used in decorating a room.
Gray is a neutral color that can be paired with any color. It allows you to have fun with a pop of color or stay monochromatic by using different hues of it.

Oh I love gray, especially light gray walls like I have in my living room. When I moved in 5 years ago i wanted painted walls in every room – taupe in my bedroom, a bright tomato red wall in my kitchen and a deep purple nook in my hallway. These days I crave more simplicity and light. I think about going all white and lighter fabrics and colors when it comes to decorating.
Thanks for the inspiration 🙂

I've been noticing (and loving) gray, as well as gray with a bluish hint, and gray with blue/greens.
