If you read my post on Thursday then you already know that the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale isn’t necessarily my favorite, BUT that doesn’t mean there aren’t some items worth taking a look at. Instead of doing a round up of all the trendy items you definitely DON’T need and that everyone else is so “obsessed” with, I decided to put together a post on the 10 items that are actually worth buying from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale…the 10 items you definitely won’t regret picking up…believe me!
This list is a mix of items I already own, items I picked up this year during the sale and more costly staples that are worth picking up while they’re on sale! And it gets even better…I’m giving away a $500 Nordstrom Gift Card so that you can go on shopping spree and maybe pick up some of these must have items. During last year’s Anniversary Sale I got hooked on Zella’s high waist leggings and I’m definitely taking advantage of them being on sale again this year! These are no joke the best leggings I’ve ever owned. They’re just the right thickness and have the perfect amount of stretch and they’re completely opaque! I already have 2 pairs of the Zella “Live In” High Waist Leggings that I wear to work out and to go out (PS they’re only $35 during the sale), so this time around I’m picking up some fun pairs!
As for this Halogen cardigan, I got it last year in black after searching high and low for the perfect long cardigan and got so many compliments, so glad it’s back in 3 colors and under $50! 100% worth it, I’ve worn my probably close to 100 times over the past year and it still looks great!

The Home Section of the Anniversary Sale is actually the largest section and Lili Alessandra is one of the brands you’ll see popping up over and over as you browse through it. I trade my heavy comforter in for a lighter coverlet in the Summer and this one is exactly what I’m looking for. I love the crisp white color and classic diamond quilted pattern.
Now onto my favorite of the 10 items that are actually worth buying from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale…THE BLANKNYC Suede Moto Jacket! You guys know I love this jacket (I have it in olive) and I’m still in disbelief that it’s actually included in the sale in multiple colors. I can honestly say this was my best purchase of all of last year and I can’t recommend it anymore. If you don’t believe me just check out how I styled it for Fall, Winter and Spring!

J Brand Maria High Waist Jeans are my favorite jeans that I own (aside from my H&M Girlfriend Jeans). These have the perfect amount of stretch, have the perfect rise and make me look about 10 lbs thinner than I actually am…anything that can make that happen is basically a miracle worker (see me wearing them here). The only problem…they’re expensive…so if you’re interested in them now is the time to pick them up because they’re currently $70 off!!
I’ve included cashmere sweaters in my 10 items worth buying round up because let’s face it, they’re expensive, so if you plan on investing in one for Fall and Winter you might as well purchase it when it’s on sale! There are a ton of options available and items are constantly being restocked so if it looks like what you want is sold out I’d keep checking back because there’s a good chance it’ll be back!
I know the LAST thing you want to be thinking about is waterproof winter boots, but this is a item that is essential for us Northeast girls and since I planned on finally getting rid of my Sorel Joan of Arctic Boots that I HATE this year I figured I would be proactive and purchase a replacement pair at a discount. I went with this Sperry pair, my order should be delivered today so check my Instagram stories later today to find out what I think!

If you don’t have a Clarisonic by now you’re missing out. My skin wouldn’t look anything like it does now without mine. I use it about 4-5 times a week and it works miracles. I know a lot of people are afraid of using one in fear of breaking out, but I always tell everyone that if you do happen to break out while using one just keep at it. You’re breaking out because your skin has probably never been cleaning that thoroughly before and all the “bad” is coming out.
If the Clarisonic is still not right for you I suggest trying the Foreo Luna (you can read my full review of it here). It massages your skin and leaves it feeling super tingly and clean, plus since it’s made of nonporous silicone it’s much more hygienic than any other cleansing tool and easier to clean too!
Speaking of cleaning, last up in my 10 Items that are actually worth buying from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale round up is Sigma’s Brush Cleaning Mat! I have a smaller version of this one and it makes cleaning my makeup brushes a million times easier and faster! The different ridges on this mat gets your brushes way cleaner than your hands ever will.
