October 2019 Round Up

Another Halloween season comes to an end and I’m not going to lie this has definitely been my best and most fun Halloween season to date! Not only did we shoot some EPIC Halloween content, but I’m SO happy than Megan and I expanded the Halloween team and got Gita and Diego on board. I literally can’t wait for next year…is it bad I’m already brainstorming costume ideas? October 2019 Travel

I went to Vero Beach, FL with my dad for a quick weekend trip on my birthday and we hit ALL of my favorite spots! My dad’s had a townhouse there for over 10 years and it’s easily one of my favorite places to visit. I’ve never done a blog post about it, but I’m thinking I need to ASAP because it’s the BEST. October 2019 Westchester

I ate at a LOT of good Westchester Restaurants over the past month so this section my Round Up is dedicated to EVERYTHING you need to try if you haven’t already!

Sea Bass with Fennel Salad and Farro at The Rare Bit in Dobbs Ferry – They just debuted their new menu and this fish special was AMAZING!

I don’t remember what this was called, but it’s a sweet corn bread dessert at Aqui Es Santa Fe in Port Chester that you NEED in your life!

If you live in Westchester County or any of the surrounding areas and you’ve never been to the Beehive for breakfast you need to cancel your weekend plans and get there! I’m not even going to give any recommendations because EVERYTHING is amazing!

I’ve been going to The Whitlock in Katonah for FOREVER for lunch, but I finally made it for dinner last weekend and as always it was amazing! Don’t miss the Tempura Green Beans (an absolute must), Tuna Tartare, Mussels and Chorizo & Shrimp Burger!

And this may not be food related, but I just wanted to throw it back to Petal It Forward Day with Simone and the Bedford Village Flower Shoppe earlier this month because it just deserves to be talked about again! October 2019 Home Updates

I know, I know, I’ve been promising an apartment update for what feels like MONTHS, but I PROMISE I’ll get one up this month. In the meantime I wanted to share a sneak peek of how my dining room nook is coming together! What do we think?? I also FINALLY added pendant lights and a runner to my kitchen that I’m completely in love with! While my apartment will always be a work in progress, it’s definitely feeling extra cozy and very me as of late.

I’m going to share 2 different items for most popular item of the month! First up, the most clicked on item was the black Amazon T-shirt dress I used to create my Miss Universe Costume! Not surprised by this at ALL! So many people purchases all the supplied to recreate that costume and if you’re one of them tag me in your pics, I want to see!! But the most purchased item of October were these Timberland boots I shared in my 12 Pairs of Fall Booties I’m Currently Obsessed With post and on my Instagram stories a couple weeks ago! I talked about how much I loved them (watch the video here) and you guys clearly love them too. If you’re looking for a more rugged pair of booties, that are waterproof, super comfortable and have just the right size heel I can’t recommend these enough!
