The 70s are back and I couldn’t be happier! Bell bottoms, wide leg pants, fringe, platforms…I’m ALL IN! I may have a love for a lot of different styles and trends and decades of fashion, but nothing screams Spring more than carefree boho 70s style! If I could wear a flower crown and channel my inner hippie every single day I would, but since that probably wouldn’t fly at work I’m mixing my favorite 70s trends with the trends of today for a perfect Spring look!  PS I secretly wish I could throw away all my skinny jeans in favor of bell bottoms…don’t you?

So excited to have Lauren joining us for this week’s 70s Boho post! I love how everyone really embraced the retro trend, while sticking to their personal aesthetic and putting their own twist on it. It just goes to show you how easy it is to take the clothes you already have in your closet and style them in a way you might never have before to conquer this trend!

How This 70s-Inspired Look Came Together

I was actually planning on wearing my new elephant bell bottoms for this post (seriously OBSESSED with them, no matter how many stares I get when I wear them), but I picked up this dress last minute and it screams 70s boho to me! The dark moody floral pattern, the midi length, the seaming on the skirt…so perfect! I paired it with my cognac saddle cross body and cat eye sunglasses (two more 70s staples), but brought it back to the 2000s with a pair of trendy ankle strap sandals.In other news I’m pissed how yellow these photos turned out. No matter how much I edited them I couldn’t get them to cool down as much as I wanted so I’m just going to go with the statement that not only is my outfit reminiscent of the 70s, but so are these photos…sounds logical right?
