Given my love of floral dresses as of late (or always) are you really surprised that my Mother’s Day Brunch outfit is a floral dress…didn’t think so! The girls and I are teaming up with Akira to share a little bit of Mother’s Day Brunch outfit inspiration and I don’t want to pat myself on the back or anything, but we kinda killed it. There’s just something about Mother’s Day that makes me want to break out all of my girly favorites and wear them at once, but we’ve been having the most terrible, rainy and cold weather so instead of grabbing for brights I’ve been unconsciously gravitating towards neutrals and this outfit definitely shows that.

I’ve actually never been a fan of the illusive wrap dress because I feel like it doesn’t look right on me and I don’t properly know how to tie it (where’s DVF when you need her?), but illusion wrap dresses I’m all about! Shorter varieties have been popular for quite a while, but I’m seeing a lot of maxi and midi wrap dresses lately and I’m in LOVE!!

I don’t know if it’s the fact that my legs are covered in bruises from dancing or that I’m insanely pale, but I’ve been gravitating towards longer hem lines this year and I’m not mad about it! I guess this is growing up?
