Have you ever gotten a gel manicure before? What about the at home gel mani kits?
Well I’ve only gotten 1 gel manicure before ((& I loved it)), but I have never tried the at home version before. I stray about from gel manis because I like to change my nail polish often, but if you’re going on vacation or need a manicure to last a while I highly recommend it!
When Nutra Nail sent me these Gel Perfect Gel Color Kits I figured the perfect time to try them out was over the long Fourth of July Weekend!! I wanted a cute festive manicure (& pedicure) that I didn’t have to worry about chipping!
Manicure kits come with gel activator, gel color & brush cleaner, while pedicure kits include those 3 items + toe separators & a foot file!
The application process was super easy. Gel Perfect isn’t gel polish, it’s made with gel color technology, so all you do is brush on the activator, then brush on a thin layer of the color, repeating the process until you get the color you wish (it only took 2 layers for me!). The best part about the whole process was that it was completely dry in less than 5 minutes!!!
I told you all my manicures would have rhinestones ever since Born Pretty Store sent them to me! Couldn’t resist creating this cute anchor design for 4th of July!

Jackie! How did this treat your nails? I've heard such harsh things about it making them weak once removed. And as a follow up, how was the removal process?

Yep, I've gotten a gel manicure a few times! And it's fabulous! My nails look perfectly manicured all the time I wear it. The removal won't weaken your nails as long you follow through the right procedure. If you're afraid to do so, you can drag yourself to salon and have it removed.Stela@ThePureSalonSpa.com
