Like I mentioned in my Paris Travel post I can’t wait to get all of my vacation photos printed & displayed in my apartment! I noticed the other day how bare the wall above my desk is and I thought it would be the perfect place to create another gallery wall! There aren’t any rules when it comes to styling a gallery wall, it’s all about piecing together the perfect photos and wall decor to create one cohesive display!
Right now I have 2 gallery walls in my apartment. Below is what we have hanging on our kitchen wall, travel photos & an awesome 3-D painting I picked up at a discount store. Each piece on their own is interesting, but when seen together it almost tells a story. While I went with all black frames for this look I opted to use white mats in the 2 larger ones.
It’s all about friends & family photos in my room & for this cluster I went for frames that could display multiple photos because having 25 single 4×6 frames is ridiculous, but adding a couple works well. I’m hoping to keep building out once I have more photos & creating a larger display.
Now onto the newest gallery wall! As you can see the Before picture is pretty boring…
…but the After mock-up I created with my Sprout by HP is much more fun! I loved that I was able to take my favorite photos from my trip and add them right on to this photo I took of my desk. I played with the sizes and what photos look best where & while I can’t promise this is exactly what it will turn out like it gave me a great starting point! Also love the idea of adding a print to the mix & this Wanderlust one fits right in! Thinking of getting one of the photos printed on canvas or metal to add texture to the overall look!
