The Smokey Eye…the most requested prom look of all!
I would say 9 out of 10 times I’m doing someone’s makeup for prom they want a smokey eye. I think the trick to smokey eyes is realizing you DON’T have to use black eyeshadow!!! Honestly most people can’t pull off all black shadow, its harsh and frankly if its applied wrong it can look terrible!!!
My favorite smokey eye looks are done with gray!! I used a mix of a dark metallic gray & a shimmery purple to create this look, but you can use navy, brown, bronze, dark purple, emerald green…pretty much anything to create yours!
Scroll down for the steps I took & exact products I used to create this look!
