Once the weather dips below 50 degrees my skin gets extremely dry especially around my nose and chin. Not only do the harsh outdoor elements like snow and wind reek major havoc on my complexion, but the forced heat in my apartment and office doesn’t help either. Last year I smartened up and bought a humidifier to add moisture into the air and combat my dry skin along with my regular moisturizing routine, but this year I knew I need a little something extra.
I don’t like to wear a heavy moisturizer under my makeup during the day, so a rich hydrating night cream was what I needed! derma e contacted me to try out one of their new moisturizers just as I was starting to do some skincare research so I knew exactly which product I wanted to try!
derma e’s Hydrating Night Creme with Hyaluronic Acid is an intensive rehydrating moisturizer that not only keeps your skin hydrated throughout the night, but also plumps skin to reduce the look of lines and wrinkles for a younger looking complexion. I mentioned in my Fall Skincare Routine post that I’ve been conscious about buying more natural products, so when I found out that derma e is one of the largest natural facial care brands in the US and a pioneer in natural skincare since 1984 I was even more excited to try it.
I’ve been using the Hydrating Night Creme for about 10 days along with my normal skincare routine included daily exfoliation and I’ve definitely noticed a decrease in dry spots around my nose. My skin looks great when I get up in the morning, so much so that I’ve even gone makeup free on a few days when I hit the snooze button a few too many times and going makeup free is usually never an option for me, especially in the Fall or Winter. I also love that the creme contains aloe, which is a big plus considering my skin has a tendency to get red easily in the Winter.
If you’re on the market for a new Winter night moisturizer I highly suggest trying out the derma e line! The entire brand is 100% vegan, cruelty-free, paraben-free, sulfate-free, mineral oil free, lanolin-free, gluten free & GMO free + all of their products are packed with antioxidants & vitamins. You have nothing to loss and only great skin to gain!
