Spring is finally here and I don’t know about you, but my beauty routine is due for an update to accommodate the change of weather! My March Beauty Essentials list pretty much consists of skin and hair care that focus on hydration, and easy to use makeup that can be used multiple ways! Scroll down for the reviews of my 12 favorite products from March…
Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Moist Deep Conditioner $2.97 – You guys…I can’t even explain how amazing this stuff is…and it’s under $3! Even if you don’t believe me can you really afford NOT to try it. I wash my hair ever four days or so and I’ve been using this in place of my conditioner every second or third wash and it’s made my hair so much more hydrated. The awkward in between weather we’re having right now is making my hair crazy and this stuff really tamed it down. I also love that this deep conditioner only needs to stay on your hair for 3 minutes to work it’s magic!
bareMinerals Skinlongevity Vital Power Infusion Serum $48 – This is kind of a rediscovery for me. bareMinerals sent me lots of their skincare last year and I of course tried them all and loved them, but then as I got new products these got pushed to the back of my drawer. Then earlier this month I was doing a little research about layering skincare products and I was on the hunt for the perfect serum that would make my skin brighter and more luminous and rediscovered this one! I’ve been using it everyday since in the morning and at night as the first step in my skincare routine (after cleansing) and I’ve definitely seen a difference. I love how light and it is and how it’s absorbed right into your skin. (Ulta is offering a FREE deluxe Marvelous Moxie in Rebel with any $40 bareMinerals purchase or a FREE deluxe bareSkin Bronzer with any $40 bareMinerals purchase. Valid until 4/8/2017)
e.l.f. Illuminating Eye Cream $10 – I can’t begin to explain how impressed I am with the e.l.f. cosmetics skincare line! Not only is it extremely affordable, but it’s all free of parabens and sulfates PLUS it’s cruelty free and vegan! As for this illuminating eye cream it really does just that…it hydrates and reduces my puffiness to create an illuminating look around my eyes. I also love that it’s the perfect consistency to wear under my makeup or at night! (Ulta is currently doing an e.l.f. promotion where you’ll receive a FREE Nourishing Night Cream with any $20 e.l.f. cosmetics purchase. Valid until 4/8/2017)
e.l.f. Massaging Eye Wand $25 – Never did I ever think I would need a massaging eye wand, but after trying this I don’t think I could ever live without it. This beauty device gently vibrates and heats up to smooth the delicate skin around your eye area and melts your eye cream into your skin. If you could only try one of my recommendations from this month have it be this one, you won’t regret it! (e.l.f. cosmetics is currently doing a promotion where you get a FREE 5-piece mystery gift with every $25+ order. Just enter code: MYSTERY at checkout! Valid until 4/3/2017)
Urban Decay Naked Flushed Palette in Streak $34 – In the Spring I like to use lighter bronzers and blushes for a fresher look and this Urban Decay palette is perfect for my skin! The bronzer is the perfect shade for my light skin and the blush and highlighter compliment it perfectly. It still gives me the contoured look I like, but with a fresh Spring spin. Plus this palette is perfect for traveling which is a huge plus for me! If you’re not quite as fair as I am this palette comes in 5 other shades! (Ulta is doing 2 Urban Decay promotions right now! Get a FREE Vice Lipstick 24 Pod with any $40 Urban Decay purchase or get a FREE deluxe Perversion Mascara with any $40 Urban Decay purchase. Both offers available until 4/8/2017)
e.l.f. Beautifully Bare Natural Glow Face Palette $8 – I know this palette is super similar to the Urban Decay one I shared above, but I’ve honestly been using both of these interchangeably all month. They’re both great and I couldn’t pick just one to share! This palette is obviously much less expensive so if you’re looking for something more affordable I’d go with this one, but you can’t go wrong with etiehr of these!. (Ulta is currently doing an e.l.f. promotion where you’ll receive a FREE Nourishing Night Cream with any $20 e.l.f. cosmetics purchase. Valid until 4/8/2017)
Garnier SkinActive Moisture Bomb Sheet Mask $3.99 each – I’ve officially jumped on the sheet mask bandwagon and I’ve never getting off! These Garnier SkinActive sheet masks might just be my favorite masks EVER! They are hydrating and shoothin and leave your skin feeling and looking amazing after. I used one after flying to Austin, Texas and my skin plumped up and looked perfectly hydrated and refreshed immediately after taking this off! There is also a Hydrating Mattfying Mask & Hydrating Soothing Mask.
Garnier Fructis Style Smooth Blow Dry Anti-Frizz Cream $3.42 – I don’t ever use any sort of special serums when I blow dry my hair, but as I mentioned above my hair has been pretty unruly lately and I needed something a little extra to tame it. Garnier used this anti-frizz cream when they blew out my hair last month so I figured I would give it a try myself. I wasn’t expecting much, but I was seriously impressed. I’m not great at giving myself a blow out and usually need to go over my hair with a straightening iron once it’s dry, but I didn’t have to do that at all when I used this! Plus it cut my blow dry time in half.
Wander Beauty Dualist Matte and Illuminating Concealer $29 – This double sided concealer is the best of both worlds! Matte, full coverage concealer stick on one side and a lightweight liquid on the other! Literally all your concealing needs in one product, I have no need for any other concealer product! I’ve been using the light shade if that helps you chose what color you would be!
e.l.f. Beautifully Bare Smooth Matte Eyeshadow in Blushing Rose $4 – If you read my How to Wear Rose Eyeshadow for Spring post then you know already how much I love this product! It’s the perfect color, it applies so smooth, doesn’t crease and is great worn alone or as a base! The best part…you can also use it on your cheeks or as a matte lipstick!
Curel Hydratherapy Wet Skin Moisturizer $9.89 – Another bandwagon I never thought I would jump on is the wet skin moisturizer one, but I’m here to admit that this is probably the most genius idea ever. I’m lazy and often forget to moisturize when I get out of the shower, but now I have zero excuse! I literally just apply this stuff when I turn the water off and towel dry off as usual.
e.l.f. Tinted Lip Oil $6 – I am not a fan of lipgloss, mostly because it’s sticky and gets everywhere, but I am a fan of glossy lips so when I saw this lip oil I knew I needed to try it! If you’re like me and hate most glosses then you need to give this a try! You can see me wearing it over red lipstick here!
Ganier SkinActive Moisture Rescue Refreshing Gel Cream $8.99 – I actually used to use Moisture Rescue cream religiously years ago, but being a beauty blogger you get a LOT of products to try and I never got around to buying it again. After trying it again this month I don’t know how I lived without it for so long. It really is a moisture rescue, I love how hydrating it and cooling it is and makes my skin feel so good after I use it.
What products are you loving this month? I’d also love to know if you have any recommendations for travel products and sun protection skincare. I’m headed to Punta Cana in a couple weeks and I’m looking for the best products to bring with me!
