Lilly Pulitzer Dress - living after midnite

Guys I’m literally embarrassed to say that this is my first Lilly Pulitzer dress EVER! I’ve admired the colorful prints and intricate patterns from afar, but never pulled the trigger on one. I don’t know if it was my fear of showing up somewhere in the same print or dress as someone (because you know I’m all about standing out not blending in) or the fact that Lilly Pulitzer is synonymous with the word preppy and I’m the polar opposite of that, but now after trying on this dress, I’m kinda glad I waited because this white eyelet maxi is to die for!!!

I’m 30 Years Old & This Is my First Lilly Pulitzer Dress

Lilly Pulitzer invited me to their National Wear Your Lilly Day event at their Madison Avenue store. I got to pick out one dress to take home with me. At first I thought I would obviously go with something colorful and printed. However, when I saw this maxi my thoughts quickly changed! Though it was a tough decision between this pink dress, this blue printed one and the white maxi I’m glad I went this route.

You guys know I’m ALL about the perfect little white dress for Summer. While this technically might not be a “little” white dress, it’s a perfect white dress. I’ve already worn it SO many times! Put it this way, I loved it so much that I actually wore it out of the store that day. Eyelet is such a timeless fabric and this silhouette, fit and length just make this whole dress perfect!

Are you a Lilly Pulitzer virgin like I was or am I the only crazy person that has never owned a Lilly Pulitzer dress?
