If you follow me on Instagram then you know that over the past few months I’ve completely fallen in love with the French clothing brand, Sezane, and I don’t foresee my obsession with them changing anytime soon.
If case you’ve never heard of them, let me introduce you! Sezane is a French fashion brand born in Paris renowned for its timeless, elegant designs. Their pieces are made with quality material and their attention to detail is unmatched especially in an oversaturated women’s fashion market filled with fast fashion.
Every piece of theirs exudes French, cool girl style and while they offer a wide variety of classic pieces, they are timeless with a twist and very much current and on trend. I swear anytime I put on a piece from Sezane I instantly feel put together, their items truly “make” an outfit.
I’m slowly adding Sezane pieces to my closet as I see holes in my wardrobe because quality over quantity and as I was placing a recent order I figured I would round up and share my favorite Sezane Winter items with you! And the best part about everything I’m sharing here is that while it may be part of their Winter collection, all of them can be worn throughout many seasons.
My Sezane Winter Favorites
Knitwear
Basile Cardigan & Emile Cardigan
Both of these Alpaca and wool cardigans are thick and oversized with slightly puffed sleeves and so perfect for Winter. You can wear them on their own, layered over a blouse or t-shirt or open! The only difference between them is that the Emile Cardigan has a high round neckline, while the Basile Cardigan has a v-neckline.
I personally own the Emile in Sage and couldn’t recommend it enough! It fits true to size on me, I wear a large.
Gaspard Cardigan & Barry Cardigan
If you’re looking for softer, more lightweight knitwear then these 2 sweaters are for you!
The Gaspard Cardigan is Sezane’s signature cardigan and I can absolutely see why! It’s available in countless colors and prints and is so incredibly soft and wearable! The Barry is essentially the same style and material as the Gaspard except that the Barry has a V-neckline, while the Gaspard has a round neckline! I own the Barry in Fuchsia and the Gaspard in Black is on my Winter wishlist!
I also love that they style both of these pieces with the buttons in the back or front!
Melvin Jumper
If you’re looking for a sweater that isn’t a cardigan, my current favorite for Winter is the Melvin Jumper! The fancy knit makes it special and gives off Aprรจs-ski vibes and it will take any simple outfit up a notch.
Winter Coats
Rick Coat
If you’re looking for a classic coat that will never go out of style then the Rick Coat is for you! Available in both camel & black this mid-length coat is a straight cut and comes with a removable belt you can tie at the waist. I love the character of the square pockets.
James Coat
The James Coat is a little on the preppy side thanks to it’s double breasted style and shawl collar. I personally love how boxy it is and the gold buttons!
Jerome Coat
The Jerome Coat is a bit of a wild card, but I love it so much I knew I had to include it in my Sezane Winter favorites round up! It’s a gorgeous green striped wool coat that will keep you warm all winter and take you right into the cold days of early Spring thanks to it’s cheery color!
Trousers
Martin Crop Trousers
My absolutely favorite Sezane trousers are the Martin Crop Trousers (I have them in Hazelnut). They are an absolute dream and perfect for winter thanks to their weight! The high waist, 7/8 length and straight fit make them extremely flattering and I can’t recommend them enough!
I have wider hips so I did size up in these for the perfect fit, but if you’re less curvy I suggest ordering your normal size.
Bags
Milo Classic Bag
If you follow me on Instagram then you know I recently got the Milo Classic Bag in Natural Heritage and I’m so in love with it. It is the epitome of the perfect leather bag and if you don’t already own it, it is exactly what you’re wardrobe is missing. It’s so versatile, the perfect size and so incredibly luxe! It’s giving designer without the designer price tag and is a timeless piece that you will never tire of.
Shoes
Amandine Boots
Block heel, knee high boots are a staple in my Winter wardrobe and Sezane nailed it with the Amandine boots! These smooth leather luxe boots look and feel high end and are timeless and will be a go-to pair of Fall and Winter boots for years to come.
Smooth Burgundy & Denim Blue are my picks as far as colors! They’re also available in black, but I think these two colors are rich, neutral and really wearable.
Dorie Boots
These 2 1/2 inch heeled booties are neutral enough for everyday wear, but can also be dressed up depending on the outfit. Like a majority of Sezane’s offerings, but especially their leather accessories, these ankle boots are timeless and will be a closet staple for years to come.
Paula Babies
My current favorite shoes on the entire Sezane site have got to be these patent leather heels! They call them “babies” because the heel is only 1 1/2 inches are they are honestly so cute! The straps, the block heel, the soft square toe, I love everything about them. Wear them on their own or with a cute pair of tights or socks!
My personal favorite colors are Polished Camel and Patent Khaki.
