Halloween is less than 1 WEEK away and if you STILL don’t know what you’re dressing up as this post is EXACTLY what you need to read. I’ve rounded up 10…yes 10…best friend Halloween costumes to inspire you plus 1 particularly “punny” costume if you’re going solo this Halloween.
PHIL & LIL FROM RUGRATS
I teamed up with Cotton to create this Phil & Lil from Rugrats costume! If you head over to the Cotton website you can see my step-by-step tutorial ((with photos)) for how to actually make these costumes. They were super easy and perfect if you’re looking for a last minute DIY costume! And what’s even better is that if you have a whole bunch of friends looking for an awesome group costume you can combine this duo costume with the below costumes and dress up as the whole Rugrats gang!! ((And if you do, pretty please tag me in your photos. I’d love to see your costumes!))
CHUCKIE & ANGELICA FROM RUGRATS (BONUS COSTUME TOMMY!)
I swear Rugrats are making a comeback this year, because these Chuckie Finster and Angelica Pickles Halloween costumes are hot, hot, hot! These were SO fun to make and wear, plus they’ll work for pretty much any Halloween occasion (crazy party, trick or treating, etc.) and they’ll work for any age! Get all the details on this Rugrats costume right here!
LUCY & ETHEL FROM I LOVE LUCY
This Lucy and Ethel costume is definitely our most popular BFF Halloween Costume so I knew I had to include in this round up. This costume is great because you more than likely already have everything you need to dress up hanging in your closet already and because it’s really recognizable! Everyone will know who you are! Get all the details on this I Love Lucy Costume here!
BEFORE & AFTER JULIA ROBERTS FROM PRETTY WOMAN
This Pretty Woman costume from last year was a hit! Another super recognizable costume that everyone will wish they thought of. I’m all about 90’s themed costumes, especially if you’re headed to a party with people that grew up during that time. Get all the details on this Julia Roberts costume here!
SAMANTHA & ENDORA FROM BEWITCHED
Looking for a niche costume? This Bewitched duo costume is for you! It’s also perfect if you’re looking for something modest and not revealing to wear to an office Halloween party. Get all of the pieces to recreate this costume here!
PEG & KELLY BUNDY FROM MARRIED WITH CHILDREN
This Married With Children themed costume was definitely one of the funniest costumes ever. We definitely got a lot of stares and confuse faces, but once people realized who were were they loved it. See more photos of this hilarious costume here!
CHER & AMBER FROM CLUELESS
Clueless is CLASSIC Halloween content and instead of going for the plaid Cher & Dionne costumes, we decided to stray from the norm and create costumes from the classic “balls fly at my nose” scene! Athletic ability not required…get all the details here!
WILMA & PEBBLES FROM THE FLINTSTONES
The Flintstones are another classic Halloween costume that’s perfect no matter how many people you’re dressing up with! You can be Wilma and Pebbles like we are or incorporate in Fred, Bamm-Bamm, Betty and Barney! Get everything you need to recreate these costumes here.
CHUCKY & BRIDE OF CHUCKY FROM CHILD’S PLAY
It’s not a Halloween costume round up post without at least one scary costume! Who else grew up watching all the Child’s Play movies? Check out more photos of this costume here!
REBA MCENTIRE & DOLLY PARTON
This Reba and Dolly Best Friends Halloween Costume was definitely one of our more ridiculous ideas! You can find all the pieces you need to create these costumes in your closet, but you need to be comfortable enough to stuff your shirt with two balloons ((insert laughing face emoji)). See more photos of this hilarious costume here.
There are funny Halloween costumes, then there are funny “punny” Halloween costumes and this “Miss Universe” Halloween costume is just that. I had so much fun creating this solar system dress and I documented the steps I took to create it for you on Cotton’s DIY Section right here!
