Closing out another month by sharing my favorite beauty products! This month’s products are all things I’ve used to make my tired holiday skin looking it’s best! From dead sea mud masks to color correcting pens to illuminating primers, these 8 products made my skin literally glow this holiday season!
Bloom Mineral Beauty Hydrating Almond Scrub $21 & Purifying Mud Mask $32.50 c/o – I’ve been breaking out on my chin quite a bit this month and the combination of these two products have made bumps go away almost over night. When I feel one come on I use the mud mask which is made with Dead Sea Black Mud, honey and aloe, at night then scrub with the almond scrub in the morning and it’s like it was never there! I also get a lot of black heads and uneven skin on my nose and the almond scrub has been great at keep that area super smooth without drying out my skin. I love that both of these products work really well without drying out your skin which is super common with other similar products.
Purlisse Green Tea + Vitamin C Brightening Sheet Mask $36 (for a 6 pack) c/o – I’m a huge fan of sheet masks and these Purlisse ones are currently my favorite. I did a lot of holiday makeup tutorials during the month of December and went to a lot of holiday parties and used one of these brightening sheet masks before I did my makeup for almost everyone. It left my skin looking more hydrated, brighter and just make my makeup look a million times better. I also love their Green Tea + Ginger Rejuvenating Sheet Masks!
Lanvin Éclat de Fleurs Eau de Parfum $88-$108 c/o – I am the worst about describing fragrances, but this one is light and fruity without being too sweet and I’ve been wearing it nonstop for about a month. I definitely don’t encourage anyone to buy perfume online, but if you happen to see this bottle in a store I would absolutely give it a try!
Maybelline Master Camo Correcting Pen $9.99 c/o – My under eye bags have been in need of a little extra help this month and my concealer just wasn’t cutting it. Instead of getting a concealer with more coverage (which I’m not really a fan of), I’ve been color correcting instead with this pink pen.
Maybelline Master Fix Wear Boosting Setting Spray $12.99 c/o – Setting spray is a must during the holiday party season and this inexpensive one did the trick for me. It kept my makeup in place, didn’t leave a sticky residue and sprayed evenly! If you’re looking for an affordable setting spray I’d definitely give this one a try.
Maybelline Master Prime Blur + Illuminate Primer $9.99 c/o – Who doesn’t love a primer that blurs and illuminates? I don’t think I’d like this on it’s own (but I don’t tend to go foundation free often), but I love the way it looks under my makeup. Plus it has sunscreen in it which is a huge plus for me especially in the Winter when I’m a little less diligent about using separate sunscreen. This primer also comes in Blur + Smooth, Blur + Redness & Hydrate + Smooth.
These 3 products plus a few more are all in Maybelline’s FaceStudio Kit that’s onsale for $14.97!
e.l.f. cosmetics Sweat Resistant Mascara & Brow Duo $6 c/o – If you haven’t checked out e.l.f.’s new Active Collection then you definitely want to take a chance and browse it. Athleisure is all the rage right now so it was only a matter of time before that trend crossed over from fashion to beauty and this line is perfect for that. I haven’t gotten a chance to try everything yet, but this clear brow gel is seriously the BEST! The brush is super tiny and combs and sets my brows into the perfect shape and provides the perfect base for my brow pencil.
