There’s No Such Thing As Too Much Pink

A pretty pink dress paired with pretty pink sandals and pretty pink lipstick with more than just a pretty pink house as the backdrop…this might seem like an overdose of pink to some people, but in my eyes there’s no such thing as too much pink. In the past I probably would never have worn the color pink head to toe, but things change, my style and taste have changed, and in this case I stumbled upon a couple of items that compliment each other perfectly.

I actually hate being too matchy-matchy, I’m more of an out of the box eclectic dresser as you can probably tell, but when it works, it works…and it worked in this scenario! I love the monochromatic palette and simplicity of this look (seriously when does my look ever consist of only 4 items), and I guess the detailing on the dress and the crazy earrings quenched my need to layer on ALL the things.

I think this pale pink was actually the color of summer 2017 for me! I’ve worn some variation of it in almost every post (see pants, shoes, earrings...) and since these shoes are pretty much my favorite purchase of the whole year I intend to wear them (and in turn bring this color) well into the Fall! For me they’re just as versatile as a neutral shoe, and they’re insanely comfortable…and on sale right now!
