6 Spring Transitional Looks

Aside from the fluke 75 degree weather we’ve had in New York this week, the average temperature during the beginning of March is usually around 40 degrees. By the end of Winter I’m usually itching to pack away my Winter clothes in favor of Spring favorites, but I have to get creative in the way that I wear them. My Winter to Spring transitional looks usually consist of jeans and pumps or a dress and boots topped with a lighter coat. And since the 70s are back in a BIG way and flare jeans are my fav, my first “Spring” outfit had to include them!

I love that you can tell what girls live in warmer climates by their Spring Transitional looks! Megan, Kacie and I all live in more northern areas of the country and aren’t quite ready to give up our coats and boots yet, while Tiffany, Alex and Monic are lucky enough to live in the southern half of the country and have already broken out their sandals.

Like I mentioned above flare jeans have always been my favorite, but it’s SO hard to find a pair long enough for me to wear with heels. I’ve had this J. Brand pair for years and they used to fit perfectly and cover my entire shoe when I wore them, but I think I shrunk them in the wash and now they look like this! I’ve learned to love them, but now I’m on the hunt for a super flare that covers my entire foot and I can wear with heels or wedges. If you know of the perfect pair please let me know!
