Why I Love This Ruffle Sleeve Top

If you follow me on Instagram, you probably saw a sneak peek of this outfit on Sunday. I said it then and I’ll say it again, this might be my favorite outfit I’ve ever taken photos in. Sometimes everything just falls into place, and when we found this sidewalk lined with trees full of yellow leaves and perfect golden hour light, I knew we had to shoot there.

Now, let’s talk about the outfit, I’m obsessed. I love these jeans so much that I bought two pairs of the exact same style and wear them almost every day (don’t judge). They fit perfectly, are distressed just the right amount, and have the ideal high waist. If that’s not enough to convince you, the $39.99 price tag will! As for the top and vest combo—it’s a little daring, but it totally works. I’m all for a ruffle sleeve top, but the fit on the chest was a bit off, so I layered it with this yellow vest. I wasn’t sure if I could pull off yellow, but after wearing this, I’m officially a fan. The color is so flattering and adds the perfect pop to the outfit.
