It’s here, it’s here…my MUCH requested favorite beauty products of ALL time posts is finally finished and live! It was pretty easy to figure out what my ultimate favorite products were, but putting together this post took a lot of time (plus I also videoed me talking about all of these favorites over on Instagram stories for you!)! I really wanted to share what I loved about each product and why it made this list. Only 15 items made the cut and considering I’m constantly trying new beauty products these have to be pretty amazing! So without further ado my favorite beauty products of all time…
My Favorite Beauty Products of All Time
Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat $9.95
If you paint your nails at home and don’t use this fast dry top coat you’re wasting your time! Now I’ve tried a LOT of fast dry nail polish, but nothing works like Seche Vite! I swear my manicure is completely dry in under 5 minutes after a thin coat of this! It’s a time game changer and a must have beauty product in just about every girl’s makeup drawer!
Kiss Nail Artist Manicure Design Kit $7.90
I get SOOO many questions about how I create the nail art that I share here on the blog and on Instagram and every single time my answer is that I use Nail Art Polish! These 3 polishes have long skinny brushes that make creating lines and designs incredibly easy! I love these brushes so much that I use a brush from an old bottle when I’m doing nail art in a color that’s not one of these 3! Whether your a nail pro or a complete novice these polishes are great to have. I use them constantly…like here, here, here, etc!
Maybelline Eye Studio Master Precise Liquid Eyeliner $8.49
When I tell people my favorite liquid eyeliner is under $10 and from the drugstore they often think I’m crazy, but this Maybelline eyeliner is responsible for creating 95% of the cat eye looks I’ve ever worn and is truly the best eyeliner on the market for me! The super sharp felt tip point allows for easy application (way easier than liquid liners that have brushes) and precision and it doesn’t budge! When putting together this post this was literally the first product I added to the list and I couldn’t recommend it any more! Tomorrow when you go to CVS just do yourself a favor and throw this in your basket.
Kevyn Aucoin The Precision Brow Pencil $26
I’m a brow-aholic if there is such a thing and when my brows look good, I feel good! For the longest time I exclusively used wax or powder with a brush to fill them in, but then I tried this brow pencil and have officially converted! The super fine tip allows you to create perfect hair strokes and makes filling in my brows a breeze. I initially included this Precision Brow Pencil in my August Beauty Favorites post and it has remained a staple ever since.
e.l.f cosmetics Beautifully Bare Satin Lipstick in Touch of Berry & Touch of Pink $5 each
I talked about both of these lipsticks in my Winter 2018 Beauty Trends post, but not only are these two shades perfect and so on trend for Winter, they’ll also happen to be my favorite lipsticks! I initially wasn’t going to include lipstick in this post, but then I realized how often I actually grab for one of these shades. They’re perfect for any and every occasion, but they look perfect on pretty much everyone who wears them! The formula is creamy and hydrating, PLUS they’re ONLY $5 each!!
Clarisonic Mia 1 Skin Cleansing System $129
I know the Clarisonic isn’t everyone’s favorite, but it is absolutely a must have for me! It changed my skin for the better and I can’t imagine my skincare routine without it. I alternate between using this and an exfoliating scrub every night and my skin is smoother, brighter and over all more youthful looking than ever before. Skincare products are absorbed better into my skincare, therefore more potent and my makeup applies perfectly. I know a lot of people claim that the Clarisonic made their skin worse and gave them pimples, but I think it was just the “bad” coming out. I definitely broke out when I first used it, but after the initial breakout my skin got so clear and smooth it was 100% worth it!
Revitalash Advanced Eyelash Conditioner $55-$150
I first mentioned this eyelash conditioner in my October Favorites post, and raved about it then (after only using it for two months), but now that I’m 6 months in I can honestly say this is one of the greatest beauty products I’ve ever used and of course scored a spot on my favorite beauty products of all time list. Since October I constantly get asked if my lashes are real, they’re long and fluttery and I don’t even remember what my lashes looked like before I started using this! It’s amazing and 100% worth the price tag.
I use it every night and I’m only on my second tube (both times I’ve bought the smallest tube). I will warn you that this is not a fast working product. So, I didn’t start seeing results for about 2 months and even then they were minimal. I say my month four you’ll see a huge difference. I suggest taking a before photo so you can really see the transformation!
Paula’s Choice RESIST C15 Super Booster $41.65 & Paula’s Choice RESIST 10% Niacinamide $35.70
Paula’s Choice is one of the best skincare brands on the market and every time I try one of their products I fall in love! My favorite product in their arsenal though definitely has to be their skincare boosters! These RESIST boosters are concentrated serums that you add to your daily moisturizer or serum for added vitamins and antioxidants and more results!
The C15 Booster is great for brighter, more radiant skin and more even skintone, while the Niacinamide one is great for reducing the appearance of fine lines and pores. These are great additions to any skincare routine especially if you’re particular about your moisturizer, but are looking for more benefits! Read more about the C15 Super Booster in my April Favorites post!!
Neutrogena Fresh Foaming Cleanser $6.99
BEST CLEANSER EVER…and I’ve tried a lot! This Neutrogena cleanser is literally the only cleanser that takes off my makeup (yep ALL my makeup…no raccoon eyes either), and cleanses my face in one shot. My skin doesn’t feel tight after, it just feels clean. I’ve used this every night for the past probably 10 years, and I’ll probably be using it every night for the next 10 years. I don’t wash my face in the morning (I just rinse with water), but my nightly cleansing routine includes this cleanser followed my an exfoliating scrub like the one I talk about next, or my Clarisonic!
Derma E Microdermabrasion Scrub with Dead Sea Salt $29.99
Derma E is one of my favorite beauty brands of all time. I’m constantly talking about them on my social media channels because their products really are amazing and I love that they are all cruelty free, GMO free, gluten free, soy free and recyclable. But this Microdermabrasion Scrub is hands down my favorite product they make. I have pretty sensitive skin that gets red very easily, but the skin around my nose is really rough and needs to be exfoliated every night or else product doesn’t get absorbed (making it worse) and my makeup doesn’t apply nice.
This scrub is literally the only product that doesn’t make me red! It gently buffs away all my dead skin leaving it brighter and smoother and looking overall amazing! As you see I just finished this bottle and another one is on it’s way as we speak. Derma E is actually having a 20% off Friends & Family sale on their site right now, I highly recommend taking advantage of it, and if you’d like anymore recommendations just send me a message!
Peter Thomas Roth Mineral Sunscreen $30
I always talk about this mineral sunscreen in the Summer and just because it’s not warm out at the moment that doesn’t mean I could leave this favorite off my favorite beauty products of all time list! This mineral sunscreen is a powder with a brush applicator that distributes sunscreen on any area you brush it on mess free! I keep it in my bag ALL summer no matter where I go.
I use it on the part of my hair (which I burn ALL the time…so painful!), on my ears, on my shoulders and chest, and on my face when I need a second (or third or fourth) application of sunscreen! You’re suppose to reapply sunscreen every few hours, BUT when you’re out exploring and you have makeup on it’s pretty impossible to reapply a lotion sunscreen without a huge mess, this power sunscreen solves all those problems…plus since it’s a matte power it instantly makes any shine on your face disappear! Greatest invention ever!
amika The Immortal Power-Life Dryer $300
Full disclosure I’ve only had this blow dryer for a couple months and it definitely is expensive, but it is a life changer! Before this I was using the same blow dryer from COLLEGE (I know…embarrassing right?), but I just never saw the need to get a new one if I had one that worked. Well after trying this amika blow dryer, let’s just say my old one may have “worked”, but it definitely didn’t work well! I have crazy curly and frizzy hair and this blow dryer can dry my whole head in under 15 minutes. And not only is my hair dry, but it’s smooth and frizz free. In my opinion it’s a miracle worker!
Hairzone Universal Hair Diffuser $18.99
I mentioned above that I have pretty curly and frizzy hair and if I don’t “do” it, the end result can be pretty crazy. I don’t always love to blow dry it smooth and I do let it air dry a lot, but when I’m in a time crunch and am looking for my natural curl I always diffuse my hair!
Also, I feel like diffusers went “out of style” for a little while (not really sure how a hair device could go out of style, but I hadn’t seen anyone talking about them for a few years), but now that curls are back so are diffusers! This one is the perfect size for my length hair and easily attaches to my blow dryer. I know this technically might not be a “beauty product”, but I’ve been getting a lot of questions about my curly hair so I figured I would include it in my favorite beauty products of all time post!
Hot Tools Ceramic Tourmaline Hair Curling Iron 3/4″ $35.13 / 1″ $43.99
Curling irons…the holy grail of every beauty/hair bloggers arsenal of beauty tools! Unlike most people I actually use pretty small barrel curling irons to achieve my curls! For curls like this I let my hair air dry for texture then curl it with a 1″ curling iron. Sometimes I use the clip like a traditional curling iron, and sometimes I use it like a wand and wrap the hair around it! For curls like this I either let my hair air dry with curling product in it or I diffuse it, and then curl my hair with a 3/4″ curling iron.
Depending on how tight I want my curls and how “big” I want my hair depends on how much hair I grab for each curl. Honestly I’m not a hair expert, but I’ve had pretty crazy hair most of my life and I’ve just learned what works best from me and these Hot Tools curling irons have been my favorite since high school! Whenever one has broken I immediately buy another one!
So that’s it! My favorite beauty products of all time!! So what did you think? Do we share any favorites? Are you going to try anything that I’ve recommended? Don’t forget I’m also doing a bunch of Instagram stories on why these are my favorites too so head over there now so you don’t miss it!
