If you follow me on Snapchat then you know that my roommate and I dressed up as Morticia and Wednesday Addams this weekend for a Halloween party and we kinda nailed it! I was hoping to be able to do a post with our costumes, but it was so rainy and windy I couldn’t get any good photos (besides this one I shared on Twitter & Facebook) so instead I decided to share my Morticia makeup tutorial! Wearing a wig is probably the most annoying thing ever, but I’m obsessed with how my makeup came out! The only thing that could’ve made our costumes better was the rest of The Addams Family!
What are you dressing up as this year?
Morticia Addams Halloween Makeup Tutorial:
- Apply shade 1 (from left) from e.l.f. cosmetics Everyday Smoky Palette (c/o) from lashline to brow. Apply MAC Eyeshadow in Carbon in crease, along lower lashes and heavily in outer corners of lid. Apply MAC Eyeshadow in Forgery in inner corners of eyes, on inner portion of lid and along lower lashes. Take a fluffy blending eyeshadow brush and blend all shadow colors together. Line upper lashes with Maybelline Master Precise Liquid Liner. Apply Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil in Perversion (c/o) on waterline. Apply 2 coats of Maybelline The Falsies Mascara on upper and lower lashes. Apply NYX Wicked Lashes in Frisky (c/o).
- Prep face with Garnier Clearly Brighter Anti Sun Damage Daily Moisturizer (c/o). Apply Clinique Beyond Perfecting Foundation with a beautyblender. Set foundation with very pale powder, I used the light shade from Celebre HD Pro Contour/Highlight Palette (c/o).
- Contour face with MAC Eyeshadow in Carbon. I used a fluffy bronzer brush and lightly applied the black shade to hollows of cheeks, along hairline and down sides of nose.
- Groom and fill in brows with black shade from BH Cosmetics Ultimate Brow Palette (c/o).
- Apply bareMinerals Lipstick in Live It Up (c/o) to lips to finish.
So excited that my Leather & Florals Look from last week was chosen to be featured among all these other amazing ladies! Make sure to check out their posts from last week!
